Cider for Change: #SupportUkraine

We’re horrified by the war that Russia has unjustly laid upon Ukraine, and the sudden tragic day to day for women, children, and families. To do our small part, the TCE! admins dug into our cellars again for Cider for Change raffle. This time, proceeds will benefit World Central Kitchen and Save the Children Emergency Fund.

The raffle will consist of two baskets each containing six bottles of cider put together by our TCE! Admins. One put together by Matt (@southciders) and Ryan (@cideraday), and the other by Laura and Erik (@wintzweshalldrink). Raffle entries are $5 each (or in multiples of $5, more entries equals more chances to win!), and give you a chance to win one basket! To enter, please Venmo or PayPal Ryan, using the logos/links below. Entries will be taken until 5PM EST on Wednesday, March 30th, with the winner randomly chosen at random that night at 8PM EST. We will reach out to the winners for their addresses, and will ship their ciders shortly afterwards. The proceeds will be split and donated to each organization by Wednesday, April 6th!

The Fine Print: Entries must include your name and email (that way we can contact you if you won!), please add this to the notes section. Winners must be over 21+ and reside in the continental United States to win (if any of our international cider friends want to do a similar raffle, we’re happy to help!). Entries that do not meet those qualifications, or received after the cut off, will be considered donations and will not be entered in the raffle. Likewise, we are not a business, any entries paid with the business protection (meaning Venmo or Paypal take a cut), will be refunded. Finally, you are only able to win one basket. If you win the first drawing, your name will be removed from the next randomized draw.

Here are the two organizations that will benefit from the generous support:

World Central Kitchen

World Central Kitchen is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. They build resilient food systems with locally led solutions. WCK is currently serving thousands of fresh meals to Ukrainian families fleeing home as well as people remaining in the country.

Save the Children Children’s Emergency Fund

Save the Children was the first global movement for children, boldly declaring that children have rights. Today, they champion the rights of the world’s 2.3 billion children. StC is there before, during and after an emergency. Working together, we help communities become more resilient so that each time a crisis happens they are stronger, more likely to survive, and recover more quickly.
